Cancellations: **A $150.00 Cancellation fee per child will be charged to your account unless a 2 week written notice is received by your Site Supervisor prior to each session your child/children are enrolled.

Do you have a planned vacation coming up during summer? Don’t forget to submit your vacation requests to us! We just require a 2-week written notice on a FAR form: CLICK HERE. You are allotted up to 10 days taken in 5-day increments.

Nuts and Bolts:

Each child will receive 2 field trip shirts, and a backpack this summer which they will have to wear every Wednesday & Friday!
Movies @ Edwards Movie Theater: every Wednesday
Picnic & Park Play every Wednesday.
BIG FIELD Trip every Friday!
Swimming @ the Poway Community Pool for 3rd & up ONLY! June 21, 7/24 & 8/14

If your child is entering TK, we are unable to enroll them for summer. They will be able to start in August, on the first day of the school year program. SUMMER & FALL ESS PROGRAMS are 2 different programs. If you get into summer does not automatically give you a spot for the fall!!

Our summer program fills up VERY QUICKLY with our current families, so very few spots will be available to new families. We are limited with how many spaces are available due to staffing & bus limitations. Please know we try our best to serve as many families possible!

Covid Reporting

Covid reporting & decision tree are still in effect. Please see DECISION TREE for protocol & procedures if your child is experiencing signs and symptoms. Please do not send them to ESS if your child has the following symptoms: cough, runny nose(nasal congestion), shortness of breath, sore throat, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, muscle/body aches, poor appetite, headache, fever with/without chills (100 and above).Just like school, in order to keep everyone safe, we will send students home if anyone shows signs and symptoms listed above. A negative test will need to be provided in order to return to ESS. If you or your child has been exposed or test POSITIVE, please inform us immediately!
